Here be Dragons, Hidden Springs Vineyard, Horam, East Sussex 2019
100% Pinot Noir. A vibrant salmon pink bubbly full of flavours of fresh strawberry and vanilla cream with hints of raspberry, blackcurrant and cherry. A fine and persistent mousse tingles on the palate. A real treat. The perfect way to kick off your festive celebrations!
Rag & Bone Riesling, Small Town Vineyards, Eden Valley, South Australia 2021
Just a cracking Eden Valley Riesling. Dry, textural, limey – everything you want from an Aussie Riesling. It finishes lean, fresh, and textural a wonderful pre dinner livener!!
Chablis, Domaine Moreau-Naudet, Chablis 2022
This Chablis is packed with ripe stone fruit, pulpy and sexy with razorblade acidity, minerality and salinity. So elegant and unctuous, perfect for seafood.
Nebbiolo, Barale Fratelli, Langhe, Piemont 2022
A cracking 100% Nebbiolo from one of Italy’s most respected winemaking families in the heart of the village of Barolo after which the entire region is now named. This village wine puts most Barolos to shame. Might as well be Turkey and Cranberries on a plate!!
Château Beauchêne Premier Terroir, Côtes du Rhône 2020
The story goes that Michel Bernard’s vineyards should very much be included in the Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe classification, but for one reason or another they were left out. Rich and smoky character. Ripe purple fruit gives way to black olive and dark chocolate notes, making this a real winter warmer
Late Bottled Vintage, Sandeman, Portugal 2018
Sandeman’s Late Bottled Vintages are renowned for their quality and character. Deep ruby colour, almost opaque. Aroma of good intensity and complexity, slightly floral, with notes of bright red fruits, spices, curry, pepper, and some cocoa and chocolate. What better way to round off your Christmas than Port and a snooze in front of the fire?
